Mason goes 5 for 5 against KC Varsity
3 singles, a double, and a triple

We went to the Royals game on Saturday night. Check out the new scoreboard! Royals won 5-3!

We sat on the patio enjoying ( or wishing we were enjoying) some beverages! Nice try Mason!

Are you superstitious?

Check out my new blog!

I had a good idea at out first baseball game. Inspired by Keely and Jessie(my sisters that blog daily), I decided to blog our baseball team for the summer! To be honest, I have done a better job keeping up with it compared to my own family blog. I was even able to create a slideshow with music. Check it out: manhattanmanko.blogspot.com!
Enjoy,
Angie

This could cost us!

Makenzie gets her 1st phone!

Yes, we included unlimited texting!

Back Problems Again

Hangin' out with the boys before the game!
The tournament was held at the KSU baseball field!

Due to back pain Mason was a supportive teammate on the bench. It is hard to watch from the dugout when you could be out on the KSU field! Good news is he is feeling better!

Being a good teammate gets you a 2nd place plaque. Manko went 5-1 and lost 9-7 in the championship game! Not bad for the 1st tournament of the year!

Take a close look!

Did you ever do this as a teenager? It isn't fun to clean up and the neighbors don't appreciate it much!

Baseball and Softball Fun

Kenzie is playing softball for the Athletics. Her team has started the season with 2-0 with Kenzie pitching both games. She loves to pitch and walk. We are working on being more aggressive at the plate! We will keep you posted on the progress.
Mason is playing for Manhattan Manko. His team has started the season 8-1. He is pitching, playing 2nd, and outfield. He had the first homerun this summer against Hays. He is glad to be back in the action after sitting out last season with a back injury! Go Manko!!
